Paul Frederick is a 30 – year veteran in hospitality safety and security. Paul has developed and directed all security and safety responsibilities including crisis management, emergency management, threat mitigation, environmental safety, travel security, physical security, workplace safety, fire safety, violence prevention, and risk assessments for more than 6000 hotels in over 110 countries.
Paul currently serves as the President of Hospitality Security Advisors, LLC where he supports clients with their security and safety programs. He often is retained to support litigation as an expert witness on both the defense and plaintiff side.
Previously he held the position of Global Head of Safety and Security for both Hilton Worldwide and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He is also a Senior Advisor to the US State Department’s Overseas Advisory Council, a former committee member of the FBI’s Domestic Security Alliance Council, and past chairman of the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s – Loss Prevention Committee.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and holds certifications as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from the American Society of Industrial Security and Certified Lodging Security Director (CLSD) from the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
